## About

SkinSearch is a free CS2 (Counter-Strike 2) skin price aggregation platform. It fetches and normalizes real-time listings from 20+ third-party marketplaces and the Steam Community Market, allowing users to compare prices across platforms in one place. No account is required to browse prices, compare listings, or use tools.

The platform is useful for:
- Finding the cheapest listing for a specific skin across all markets
- Tracking historical price trends for CS2 items
- Calculating whether a tradeup contract is profitable before committing
- Valuing a player's inventory
- Understanding the statistical expected value of opening CS2 cases
- Learning about the CS2 skin economy through guides

## Site Structure

### Home — https://skinsearch.com
The main search interface. Users search for any CS2 skin by name and see aggregated real-time listings sorted by price across all supported markets. Supports filtering by wear (Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn, Battle-Scarred), StatTrak, and Souvenir variants.

### Item Page
Dedicated page for a specific item. Shows:
- Current listings per market with direct links to buy
- Price history chart
- Wear float distribution
- Related skins in the same collection

**Weapon skins** follow the URL pattern:
- `quality`: FN (Factory New), MW (Minimal Wear), FT (Field-Tested), WW (Well-Worn), BS (Battle-Scarred)
- `category`: normal, stattrak, souvenir

- Example: `https://skinsearch.com/item/sticker/ibuypower_holo_katowice_2014`

### Category Page — https://skinsearch.com/category/{category}
