Premier Season 5 is now live, giving players a fresh competitive season to climb the ranks. Alongside the new season comes one of the biggest gameplay changes in recent months: a complete rework of C4 explosion damage.
Instead of dealing damage in a simple radius, the bomb explosion now creates a shockwave that travels through the map. Walls and solid objects can block the blast, allowing players to survive in situations that previously would've been impossible. Your health bar will also preview whether you'll survive the explosion, making post-plant situations easier to read.
One of Counter-Strike's most iconic maps is back.
Cache officially joins the Active Duty map pool, replacing Overpass in the Active Duty map pool for Premier play. Whether you're learning new lineups or revisiting old strategies, players will have plenty of fresh tactics to explore.
The Armory has received four brand-new collections, including two weapon collections and two sticker collections.
The Arabesque Collection introduces a range of detailed weapon finishes inspired by intricate patterns and decorative artwork.
The Spy Tech Collection features sleek, futuristic designs with a futuristic, technology-inspired aesthetic.
Two sticker collections have also been added to the Armory:
Both collections offer plenty of new options for sticker crafts and loadout customization.
Several community-created maps have been added across different game modes.
These maps bring even more variety to matchmaking throughout Season 5.
The update also includes several quality-of-life improvements, including:
